Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to prability.com/ (the "Site"), operated in connection with the PRAbility methodology, executive communication education, keynote speaking, workshops, consulting, crisis communications services, downloadable resources, and webinars offered by PRAbility. It describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. Separate written agreements govern paid consulting, coaching, speaking, and training engagements, and take precedence over this policy for matters they specifically address.
2. Information Collected
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and message content — when you submit a consultation request, contact form, newsletter sign-up, resource download, or webinar registration. We also automatically collect technical information, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring URLs, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
3. Contact Forms
Information submitted through consultation, contact, or booking forms is used to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential engagement, and follow up regarding PRAbility services. Form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to service the inquiry and for our business record-keeping, and are not sold to third parties.
4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve functionality. Cookies may be set by us directly or by third-party services we use for analytics or content delivery. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some features of the Site.
5. Analytics
We use analytics services (such as web traffic and behavior analytics tools) to understand aggregate visitor activity — including which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which resources are downloaded. Analytics data is used to improve Site content and user experience and is generally viewed in aggregate rather than tied to an identifiable individual.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Confidentiality
Information shared with us in connection with a consulting, coaching, or crisis-communications engagement — including details about your organization or a specific situation — is treated as confidential and used solely to provide the requested services, except where disclosure is required by law or separately authorized by you in writing.
8. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, or to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11 below.
9. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States and intended primarily for a U.S. audience. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your home jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer and processing.
10. AI Content
Some content on this Site, including drafts of written material and design elements, may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence tools as part of our production process, with human review before publication. Use of AI tools in content production does not change how we handle your personal information under this Privacy Policy.
11. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be reflected by a revised “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at privacy@prability.com.
